ScR3WiEuS Note: To our fagmuffin population: don’t even bother commenting on the OP lyrics.

Younha performing Azalea on 081012 Open Concert. The song was first sung by Maya on her first album, Born To Do It in 2003 and is originally based on a poem written by Kim So Weol in 1934.

@ Kubo: the two Tales have individual storylines, only some characters are overlapping. And

@ surya: how’s about starting with Tales of Memories first?
so whats wrong w/ OP?
ps; didmt watch yet.
the song is in japanese engrish, aka you hear different word than whats actualy being sung.
@ IcY
I know they had different story lines with shared characters but it never occured to me that they could be in different countries. As I’m rewatching the first season i’m comming to terms with this fact though.

On the fact of the op I absolutely hate the new song, they should have just kept Euphoric Field IMO.
I’ve heard good things about the ef series, but can someone tell me if it would be enjoyable to me if I were to look into it? I’m NOT a fan of Shoujo anime, I can’t stand to sit through a bunch of “girl-guy relationship oh noes blushing every 3 seconds kawaii kawaii kawaii more relationship talking (boring) talking (boring)..”… Well you get the picture.
Is this just another generic shoujo/romance anime at the core? I realize the story might be good from what I’ve read, but is it really at all that interesting to watch?
I’m not trying to be critical or anything before I’ve seen the first season (memories), but I just don’t want to go through the hassle of downloading it just to see a bunch of girl characters blush and shy away from guys and the boring relationship-development game.
Meh I’m not much for shoujo my self but I enjoyed this it was less of blushing then… ohhhh snap situations for me. I realy like one half of the story while semi disliked the other which in the end ended up being realy good too. I won’t ruin it for you but dl at least the first ep and see if you like the pace.
Personaly I would recomend it, as would most of the people i know who watched it.
@Brass2TheMax: you won’t find anything that you described above in the Tales series. It’s a more serious and dramatic romance series.
@Kubo: I’m a bit confused too.

@Kubo: I just rewatched it. Mizuki just woke up and is sleepy so what Kenji said (Australia) is just a joke. We can see Mizuki quickly asks why Renji is here, how come she is at Renji’s house etc. Then Renji reminds her about she is visiting Renji’s place to play since she was bored after being admitted o her selected school. So it is Japan after all.
The lyrics sound different to me in different volumn.
@ IcY now you got me thinking in a loop damn you. So do both parts of memories take place in japan or is one done in Australia?
finally! have been waiting for it… thx for the release…
@ Kubo: Both in Japan.
@Kubo: I believe u thought the 2nd part is in Australia when Mizuki asks Renji where she is at and Renji answers Australia right? Renji was just playing a joke on Mizuki that’s all since she’s sleepy and can’t recall where she is.
@IcY Yeah, now I am able to actualy understand what your trying to get across, seeing as im no longer drunk and tired :p. Looking forward to the next ep guys.
Cool kara ^^
The video quality sucks, though. :/
The original source is terrible.
ef – a tale of memories ~recollections is out now, I think it is a 1 episode video. Hope to see Menclave sub it.
But I think that the story was in Australia. Because final-term examination of Japanese is about February.
In Australia, Fabruary is summer,(but Japan is winter) and the story’s time was summer. So that was in Australia.
ef will have blu-ray version soon.
Thanks ^^
Now I’m off to watch the episode xD
