Managed to pick up a copy of Bayonetta, so far the combat has been pretty good but I’m finding the story a little bit… weird.
I also forgot how low leveled Johto was in Gold and Silver(wild pokemon are still in the twenties by the time you’ve got the eighth badge) which makes grinding a bit difficult. But I guess it’s a small price for multiple regions, and how easy it is to level up your team with the pokewalker makes up for it.
anyway, workin on final fantasy xiii and stuck on taejin tower. those 3 mandatory missions are annoying so i’m just cp farming over and over on the first floor then on the second floor (those yellow robots)

I went to gamestop the other day to pick up FFXIII, then I saw Fallout 3 for $20. Yup now I’m grabbing all the random shit I can find and selling. Gotta have those bottle caps.

this is a much shortened version of a really long comment. i didnt post it because when i clicked submit it said “you must be logged in to post a comment.” seriously, how do you think i typed anything in the comment box and clicked the submit button in the first place? and i checked the stay logged in forever box anyways… me pissed >=(
so anyway
i use telus and ds can play online no problem, just laggy.
how good is fallout 3?
i want all pokemon and continents in a single game.
pokemon black and white coming in fall. nice new camera angle+even moar new pokemon=epic win wonder what new pokemon they have…
nintendo 3DS coming next year. more news at E3 this june. it’s gonna have holographic capability and gamecube graphics. closer dual touch screen that looks almost like a single screen. maybe tilt controls too.
but pokemon black and white aren’t going to be made for 3DS, they wouldn’t try to make their games on an outdated platform the moment it comes out would they?
so after playing some action adventure sort of demos, imma rank them starting from the worst
wet < brutal legend < *big gap* < dante's inferno < god of war III < *more gap* < bayonetta < *colossal rift in time and space* < darksiders
wet- everytime you jump, it goes into slow motion. everything looks brown and boring. combat feels cheap and lame.
brutal legend- it's supposed to be cool, but you can't even jump…the inability to jump is only acceptable in certain shooters… the graphics aren't so great either XD combat is really chunky. the only reason you would play this is to hear the silly dialogue
dante's inferno- cheap ripoff of god of war with a horrid story…
god of war III- being the first god of war i've after hearing all the hype and praise about it, it seems rather disappointing. it's not a bad game, but trying it after dante's inferno makes it feel like the same game all over again, if i had played the demos in reverse order, i might have liked this more. tbh, i think the combat is actually unsmooth and the jumping is really stupid…you might as well not be able to jump until certain scripted parts XP i'm not a fan of excesive gore, and this being the goriest of them all, obviously detracts…
bayonetta- the pinnacle of smooth combat. story deliberately starts off confusing and then straightens out as the game progresses, which is the whole point of the game. her movements are really annoying to the point where it's kind of funny, which is probably the whole point of it. having actually played part of the real game opposed to the demo, and looked at the trophy list, the games seems rather short… unless there are levels with no trophies later on.
darksiders- straight forward story to start off, combat is not as smooth as bayonetta, but still smooth. the only one with puzzles and actually requires some skill and thinking. even the bosses and enemies are like puzzles, they somethimes require specific weapons and techniques to kill. it's like playing one of those 3d zelda games.
Uh… Have they even stopped selling GBA games yet? The 3DS is backwards compatible (or so it’s rumored). Also, Pokemon Emerald was released after the DS launched I believe. At least in North America.

but still, they wouldn’t want their umm… revolutionary addition to the series be instantly an inferior game made for a previous generation of platforms would they? they would probably want their new game to hit hard and not be overshadowed by the now 3d games lol. it would end up like the gameboy micro, or kinda like the current DSi XL lol…
I think they have stopped selling GBA games, the only ones I recall seeing were second hand and there aren’t any listed on the online stores I usually use.
They could be compatible for both the DS and 3DS, like how Gold and Silver could be played on the Game Boy Color and Original Game Boy. But that’s really just speculation.
They better include more fire types in Black and White/Gen V. Seriously there were only like two (and their subsequent evolutions) in pre-national dex Diamond and Pearl, one of which was a starter, at least there were some cool electric types. I’m interested to see what new type combinations they’ll include as well.
i wish my gameboy colour games could be played on my DSLite -_-

oh wait, nvm rofl..it’s too thin to play them lol
i’m glad i waited out so long without a ds or psp, if 3ds comes out, sony with probably do something about it and then nintendo will add some features to their lightweight 2nd gen 3ds and then i’ll consider getting one lol. and then by that time there will prolly be a pokemon made for 3ds with 600 pokemon lol and then i’ll consider getting it.

There’s rumors the 3DS will be out in October.
