So here we are. We finally finished a project, and only two months behind schedule, hurr hurr. I guess it’s time for the obligatory “omg its teh end of tha series, need massive post” post. Let’s rattle off some thanks to staff in no particular order:
Kokizzzle – For translating and putting up with our bullshit.
johnsmith – For doing a bang up job timing (one of the only things done on time). Always a pleasure to work with you.
iriseyes – For being our kawaii editor between bouts of drama.
Collectr – For being an editor extraordinaire, and an all around saint.
pichu – For taking forever to do the original karaoke, then going emo, unresponsive, getting kicked out, almost killing the project, and forcing us to redo your Karaoke. Thanks, we love you too.
DeathWolf – For magical logo creation. Your wizardry is feared by the peasants.
Saji – For being the most consistent QCer from the Menclave QC Team.
crash – For doing karaoke in pichu’s “absence” and remaking the aforementioned karaoke without cursing “PICHUUUUUUUUUUUU”.
b0nk – For typesetting the first couple episodes, before going MIA. Yeah.
Paradigm – For typesetting a bunch of episodes during said period.
silverfire – I think you k-timed a few songs… cool. Thats a good 15 minutes of work there.
Scr3w – For k-timing all the rest, since silverfire is a lazy bastard.
Myself (Daemon404) – I rule, obviously. No need to elaborate.
Radicand – For being the ONLY steady and consistent QCer on ef. The reason half the stuff was released without 2 more weeks of delay.
sputnik – For translating the German signs (while wearing lederhosen). (Also thanks to a couple cool cats in The Triad for randomly translating some German signs when I could not reach sputnik).
[K]at – For being typesetter #34.3 on this project, and churning out an episode.
ThaEagle – For typesetting 6 episodes of this project in a single weekend and single-handedly reviving it. <3
Xistance – For making shit happen. Oh, and also harassing Koki.
redbat – For QCing when you could get around it.
Zappster – What? Zappster was on ef? I guess so. He QCed an episode or two. I think.
zycle – For doing the final few karaokes on ef and helping us finally finish it.
And lastly… guuchan – Though you were not able to PL or TL this project, you were with us in spirit (and the project channel, telling us we’re slow and shaking your head in dismay).
And with this, ef comes to a close. Though we may be done subbing it, the nightmares will persist for decades to come.

Oh and thanks for outing yourself for us Captain Dolce & Gabbana. Here’s a quick lesson in American slang, douchebag (d-bag for short) is an insult stemming from the bag that accompanies a douche. Douching is otherwise known as vaginal irrigation, and a douchebag is what holds the fluids for douching. Since the 1960s, the term douchebag has been used with a negative connotation synonymous with jackass, tool, and other terms of the sort. Usually defined as arrogant or malice. Although the lesser term douche nozzle should be more offensive (it’s the part that does the douching) douchebag seems to be the more commonly used one.

wow, the comments here are retarded. Page after page of ‘wheres mah gund00m’/'it’s totally okay, take your time with mah gund00m’ with hardly a hint of interest for the show itself. Worthwhile discussion might as well be a pipedream.
On some level, I wonder why you bother. Falling two months behind with a clearly (partially) unmotivated team to release to an uninterested audience is just beyond me. The crappy comments isn’t just the gundamtard’s fault either: the way you’ve treated the show (delays, half-assed release posts) does nothing to convey that you actually [I]want[/I] people to watch it. Frankly, if it weren’t for the fact that the only alternative I’m was aware of was Chihiro, I’d have long moved on (the fact that I’m coming to this release post a month late already says volumes).
But in the end, that’s how it was. So ultimately, I do have to say ‘thanks for this’. I just got done marathoning from episode 4 straight to the end, and it was just as engaging a watch as I’d hoped and expected. Really amazing show, much more meaningful/artistic/intelligent/thematic/emotionally compelling/beautiful/again, intelligent than that gund*m shit. Good luck with whatever else, though. That’s all I have to say.
